Short version: we don't collect personal data, we don't run creepy tracking, and we don't sell anything about you.

Analytics

We use privacy-first, cookieless analytics (Umami), self-hosted on our own server. It records anonymous, aggregated page views: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal identifiers, and nothing that can identify you individually.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links (vehicle history checks, insurance quotes) are affiliate links: if you buy or request a quote after clicking, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These links are always labelled. The partner's own site may set its own cookies once you arrive there, and that's governed by their privacy policy, not ours.

Advertising

If and when we run display ads, the ad provider (e.g. Google AdSense) may set cookies to show relevant ads. Where required, you'll be asked for consent, and you can opt out via Google's ad settings or Your Online Choices.

The data on this site

The MOT statistics are already anonymised at source by the DVSA; they contain no personal or vehicle-identifying information (no registration numbers, no owner details). Reg-lookup features, if added, query official APIs live and store nothing.
